Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive Lean Six Sigma training programs to professionals seeking certification and mastery in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality Lean Six Sigma training programs, including Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Blue Belt (Sponsor). Black Belt, Purple Belt (Change Leader), and Master Black Belt certification courses.
- Create and update course materials, ensuring content is current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide expert instruction and mentorship to students, guiding them through complex concepts and practical applications of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders to tailor training programs to meet specific business needs and objectives.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and incorporate new knowledge into training programs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the organization by applying Lean Six Sigma principles to internal processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on Lean Six Sigma projects and initiatives, both within the organization and for external clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification required.
- Extensive experience in leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma projects, with a proven track record of delivering significant improvements.
- Strong instructional and presentation skills, with experience in training and mentoring professionals at various levels.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies, as well as statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design is highly desirable.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a consulting or training role, working with diverse industries and clients.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience with e-learning platforms and technologies.
- Familiarity with additional process improvement methodologies, such as Kaizen, Total Quality Management (TQM), or Business Process Reengineering (BPR).
